Unlimited Dimensions are unique in Navision.  These allow you to segment and report, slice and dice in an unlimited fashion.  Dimensions allow you to self-select any item, product, service, contract, production BOM, customer, geographical region, sales person or region, project, division, etc and ties these transactions to General Ledger for full, real-time reporting by any one or combination of dimensions.  You can literally track and instantly compare Profit and Loss by customer, product, contract, sales regions or persons, vendors, etc or any combination.  And all these export instantly to a Dynamic Pivot Table in Excel.
